Paloma means "Dove" in spanish. While keeping with the tradition of naming Patchwork Party Quilts after women, I wanted a nod to the design as well. There are so many feathers on this quilt. Starting with the feathered star in the middle, the feather applique in the setting triangles and the border and finally the feather quilting throughout. So Paloma it is. Past Patchwork Party names: Calliope, Roslyn,Betsy, Evelyn and Eliza.
